Comprehensive Land Use Planning open houses
Since its adoption in January 1999, the City has relied on the Union
County Comprehensive Plan to guide development. However, in recent
years the City has seen unprecedented growth. To ensure this growth
reflects the vision for the City of Marysville, a City specific
comprehensive land use plan is now needed. This comprehensive land use
plan will be the City’s primary planning guide and will be utilized to
make decisions regarding development, redevelopment, capital
improvements, economic incentives and other matters impacting the lives
of our residents and corporate citizens. We want and value your input!
We need to hear from you to ensure that key priorities are included as
we plan for the future. Please plan to attend one of two open houses to
participate in a variety of hands-on vision development activities:
12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

These Open Houses are a key step in developing the City of Marysville’s
Comprehensive Land Use Plan. The Open Houses will give residents a
unique opportunity to provide comments and opinions about the City of
Marysville’s current needs and its future opportunities. Participants
will be able to review information drafted to date and provide valuable
feedback for consideration in the Plan.
