Camp,
fundraiser releases stress
Scrappin’ for Camp, a day-long fundraiser that centers around the creative
process of scrapbooking, will be held on Sat., April 21, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. Scrappin’ for Camp participants receive breakfast, morning workshops,
lunch and a presentation about Camp BraveHeart.
The afternoon includes more workshops and massages. All attendees receive “goodie” bags
and door prizes will be given hourly.
The cost for the day is $25. All proceeds go toward Camp Braveheart, a two-day
summer camp scheduled for June 14 and 15 at Camp Willson in Bellefontaine.
The camp offers grief counseling and fun activities to kids ages five to 13.
Camp BraveHeart, provided by Universal Home Health and Hospice Care, is free
to families in Union County. Creekview Intermediate School, 2000 Creekview
Dr., Marysville, Ohio.
Also, copies of the Camp BraveHeart Cookbook can be reserved and picked up
at Scrappin’ for Camp on April 21. Cookbooks are $10.00 per copy.
